You can delete a ELT source from Alation to remove the sources that you no longer require. To delete a ELT source, perform the following steps:

The ELT source deletion process is irreversible. Ensure that the source you delete is no longer needed and is safe to delete.
To delete a ELT source, you must be either a Server Admin or a ELT Source Admin of the source.
To delete a ELT source, go to Apps > Sources > Manage Settings and click the delete icon next to the ELT source.
To delete a ELT Source, go to Catalog > Business Intelligence > Manage Settings (Icon) and click the delete icon next to the ELT source.
Deletion in Progress Behavior¶
During a deletion process, the UI behavior of the source will be as follows:
In Sources > Browse Sources tab:
If you search the source and navigate to the catalog page during its deletion, Alation displays the following message:
Restore Deleted ELT Source¶
Alation allows you to restore a deleted ELT source. To restore a deleted ELT source, go to the General Settings tab of the deleted ELT source and click Restore under the Restore ELT Source section. The Restore ELT Source section appears on the General Settings tab irrespective of whether you deleted the ELT source from the General Settings tab or the Manage Settings page.
